|Training to become a woodturner, for a period of 20 weeks.
Target: Training to become a woodturner, combining traditional and Anglo-Saxon techniques, allowing the turner to have an independant activity, or complementary to the activity of another craftsman (carpenter, decorator, interior designer, woodworker, shipwright, tabletier etc.).
Dates 2016-2017 : from the 12th September 2016 to the 17th February 2017 (with hollidays from the 31st October to the 4th November 2016 and from the 19th December 2016 to the 2nd January 2017), 35 h per week.
Dates 2017-2018 : from the 11th September 2017 to the 16th February 2018 (with hollidays from the 29th October to the 6th November 2017 and from the 22nd December 2017 to the 8th January 2018), 35 h per week.

700 hours of training
Comprehensive program that includes all the traditional bases of turning, with a knowledge of the contemporary turning and sculpture turning.
This training is aimed at motivated people, does not necessarily require a prior woodturning knowledge. In each unit, the target is to work on a profitable basis.
11 trainees will be selected after an interview.
The trainers :
Training developed and delivered by Yann Marot (ingeneer at the engeneering school of Nantes, professional woodturner), and several other professionnel woodturners.
An assistant will be present some weeks.
